Barrier named POY, Letcher COY by 10th Region Girls Basketball Coaches Association

The 10th Region Girls Basketball Coaches Association announced on Friday that Montgomery County senior Hayden Barrier is the 10th Region Player of the Year and Greg Letcher of Nicholas County is the 10th Region Coach of the Year.

Barrier is averaging 18.7 points and 3.7 rebounds a game. 

Letcher has coached the Lady Jackets to an 18-9 record, the 10th Region All "A" Classic championship and a semifinal finish in the All "A" Classic state tournament.

The coaches association also released its All-Region Teams:

Nicole Archibald – Junior Guard, Bracken County
