The Mason County Royals cross country team won the Varsity Black Division race at the 18th Annual Saturday Night Lights in Centerville, Ohio.
The Royals finished 23 points ahead of the runner-up team in a race featuring twenty-six teams and 237 runners.
Four Mason County runners finished in the top 20. Bryant Curtis was 9th (17:22.8), Dashawn Overly was 12th (17:27.4), Ed Brannon was 16th (17:33.7) and Peyton Ullery was 19th (17:37.2).
Mason County will run in the KTCCCA Meet of Champions at Kentucky Horse Park Tuesday and the Area 7 Championships at Rowan County Friday.
