The Mason County girls' doubles tennis team of Bailey Boone and Tori Lavinder will play for the region championship after winning quarterfinal and semifinal matches today.
Boone and Lavinder won their quarterfinal match 6-4, 7-5 and were 6-4, 6-1 winners in the semifinals at Eastern Kentucky University.
The tournament was moved from George Rogers Clark High School to EKU because of the rain.
Boone and Lavinder will play George Rogers Clark in the final Wednesday at 8 p.m.
Boone and Lavinder qualified for the state tournament by advancing to the semifinals.
Mason County's boys' doubles team of Sam Clarke and Cooper Rolph won their Round of 16 match 6-3, 6-4 Monday and lost 1-6, 2-6 in the quarterfinals today.
Mason County's boys' doubles team of David Presnell and Brody Thoroughman lost their Round of 16 match 1-6, 0-6.
St. Patrick's boys' doubles team of Falon Klee and Logan Stahl lost 1-6, 1-6 in the Round of 16.
In Round of 16 singles matches Monday, Claire McGuire of Mason County lost 0-6, 0-6; Taylor Watts of St. Patrick lost 0-6, 0-6; and Evan Smith of Mason County lost 4-6, 2-6.
