The 2023 10th Region Baseball Awards were announced Thursday by the Kentucky High School Baseball Coaches Association.
Montgomery County senior Matthew Rowlett is the Player of the Year and Montgomery County coach Gene Combs is the Coach of the Year.
Kory Smoot of Bourbon County is the Assistant Coach of the Year.
Other recognitions include:
Sophomore East All-Stars: Zach Franzen of Campbell County and Jashon Lewis of Harrison County.
Sophomore Alternates: Kade Hilander of Bourbon County and Kamden McAlpin of George Rogers Clark.
Junior East All-Stars: Landon Scilley of Mason County and Corey Vaughn of Harrison County.
Junior Alternates: Hank Krift of Bracken County and Elijah Harris of Harrison County.
Senior East All-Star recognition: Matthew Rowlett of Montgomery County, Evan Moore of Bishop Brossart, Ayden Hamilton of Campbell County, Ryan Johnson of Nicholas County and Malachi Feeback of Harrison County.
