Mason County will host Rowan County in a girls' and boys' basketball doubleheader on Monday night in the quarterfinal round of the Kentucky 2A Championships Section 6 Tournament at The Fieldhouse. The girls' game is first at 6 p.m.
The Mason County Royals opened the season with a 67-48 win over Rowan County.
Monday night's winners will move on to the semifinals to play Fleming County on Thursday night. The semifinals and finals will be played at Greenup County.
The Section 6 girls' and boys' champions will advance to the Kentucky 2A Championships state tournament in Owensboro January 13-15.
