Senior Grant Owens won medalist honors with a 1-under 71 and led the Mason County Royals to a season-opening victory at the Eagle Trace Invitational today.
The Royals had a team of 304. Trey Cracraft followed Owens' 71 with a 75. Jake Feldhaus shot a 76, Noah Gardner an 82 and Quin Grooms an 86. The top 4 scores are used for the team total.
Mason County is back in action on Saturday in the East Carter Invitational at Hidden Cove Golf Course at Grayson Lake State Park.
