3-way tie after the first-round of the Firecracker

Nate Kearns, Brett Metzger and Jackson Frame share the first-round lead in the 55th Firecracker tournament at Kenton Station Golf Course after shooting 8-under 62s today.

Tyler Lippert and seven-time champion Deron Feldhaus are tied for fourth, one-shot back. 

Shawn Armstrong and Mark Moore both shot 64s.

Logan Shepherd and three-time defending champion BJ Knox are three-shots behind the leaders after shooting 65s.

The group at 6-under includes Zach Creswell, Josh Goddard and Mason Butler.

The final round will be played on Sunday.
