An Independence Day tradition -- the 39th annual Knights of Columbus Joe Donovan Memorial River Run -- takes place Monday morning in downtown Maysville.
The event, which begins and ends on McDonald Parkway near the fountain at the entrance to Limestone Landing, features a 5K run and a 2-mile walk.
The race begins at 8 a.m. Check-in starts at 6:30 a.m. The entry fee is $25 for 18 and over and $20 for under 18. Make checks payable to Knights of Columbus.
