The Mason County Royals lost to the George Rogers Clark Cardinals 10-9 in nine innings in the quarterfinal round of the 10th Region baseball tournament Monday night at Harrison County.
The Royals end the season with a 17-14 record.
GRC moves on to the semifinals to play the Nicholas County Bluejackets. Nicholas County shutout Bishop Brossart 7-0 in the opening game of the tournament.
