Mason County senior Logan Shepard signed today to continue his academic and golf career at Transylvania University.
Shepherd and his Mason County teammates were back-to-back Region 12 champions in 2020 and 2021. The Royals finished in 5th place in the 2021 Leachman Buick-GMC-Cadillac Boys State Golf Championship. Shepherd shot a 2-over-74 to lead the Royals to a 3rd place finish in the inaugural Kentucky 2A Championship state golf tournament. He took 6th place in the individual standings.
Shepherd was named to the All-Region Team.
