The Mason County Lady Royals indoor track and field team continues its winning ways.
The defending state champions picked up their second victory in as many meets on Saturday at Mason County Indoor Meet #2.
Saturday's win was in dominating fashion. The Lady Royals racked up 129.5 points. Paul Dunbar was a distance second with 47.5 points.
St. Henry won the boys' meet with 67 points. Mason County took fourth place with 51.5 points.
Mason County eighth grader Lexi Young won the girls' high jump, breaking her school record by clearing 5-03.00. Young also won the girls' 55 meter dash in a time of 7.68.
Other Mason County first-place finishers in the high school meet include:
- Layla Henderson, girls' 1600 meter run (5:38.17) and the girls' 3000 meter run (11:21.12)
- The girls' 4x400 meter relay team (4:36.92)
- The boys' 4x400 meter relay team (3:54.02)
- AJ Barrett, boys' pole vault (11-06.00)
