Darren Williams addresses the Mason County baseball team

Former Mason County Royal and current University of Kentucky pitcher Darren Williams stopped by the Royals' workout this morning and talked to the team about accountability, character, nutrition, playing in front of big crowds and more. He also showed the pitchers some exercises.

Williams, a 2016 graduate of Mason County High School, transferred to the University of Kentucky this year and playing four seasons at Eastern Kentucky University.

Williams told the Royals the transfer was a smooth transition.
