Twenty-five boys high school players from the 10th and 16th regions have been invited to workout in front of college coaches at The District Combine July 31 at the Mason County Fieldhouse.
Area players invited to the combine include Nate Mitchell, Philip Bierley and Terrell Henry of Mason County, Kason Hinson and Riley Mastin of Augusta, Blake Reed and Cayden Reed of Bracken County, Larkin McKee and Lucas Jolly of Fleming County, Trey Gerike of Lewis County and Wyatt Clarke of Nicholas County.
Mason County assistant coach Bryson Bennett is the director of the combine which will consist of three sessions. The first session will feature shooting drills. The second session will focus on the same drills NBA players do at the NBA Combine. The final session will be a 5-on-5 game.
