Mason County Lady Royals softball coach Adam Sapp has announced he is resigning effective at the end of the season. Sapp made the announcement on his Facebook page.
Sapp was hired as Mason County's head coach in September 2017. He guided the Lady Royals to back-to-back district championships in 2018 and 2019. The 2020 season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mason County has a 1-15 record this season.
