The Mason County archery team took third place in the Pendleton County state qualifier Saturday in Butler.
The Royals had a team score of 3,137. Harrison County won the tournament with a score of 3,266. Scott was the runner-up with a score of 3,196.
Jacob Brown and DeAnna Roberts led the Royals. Brown had a score of 281 with 13 tens. Roberts posted a score of 279 with 16 tens.
