Mason County sophomore Layla Henderson broke the school record in the girls' 1500 meter run with a time of 5:18.14 at the Kentucky Track and Cross Country Coaches Association Age Group indoor track and field meet in Louisville on Sunday.
It's at least the sixth school record broken this season.
"They are breaking them so fast I can't keep up," Mason County coach Mark Kachler wrote in an email message.
