Former Mason County point guard Ryan Hamm has been promoted to associate head men's basketball coach at Saint Leo University, an NCAA Division II school in Florida.
Hamm has been assistant coach on the coaching staffs of head coach Lance Randall for the past six seasons. They coached together at Saint Leo during the 2014-15 season, then at Lindenwood for four seasons before returning to Saint Leo last season.
Hamm, a member of three 10th Region championship teams at Mason County including the 2008 state championship team, was a 2017 30-under-30 honoree by the National Association of Basketball Coaches.
Saint Leo is a member of the Sunshine State Conference.
