Mason County junior running back Brandon Dearing is the Kentucky Football Coaches Association Class 3A, District 6 Player of the Year.
Dearing rushed for 693 yards and nine touchdowns on 96 carries this season. He rushed for 189 yards and three touchdowns in the Royals' season-opening victory over Grant County.
Pendleton County Coach Brian Burgemeir is the Class 3A, District 6 Coach of the Year.
