All Mason County football activities are shutdown this week after the Mason County High School Athletic Department today was made aware of a positive COVID-19 case within the football program.
The Royals' district game at Powell County Friday night has been postponed.
All student athletes and coaches impacted by the positive test have been contacted and are being quarantined, according to a press release from Mason County High School.
This is the second time this year Mason County football activities have been shutdown because of a positive COVID-19 case. The first shutdown was announced on July 28.
