The beat goes on for Mason County sophomore Layla Henderson and her teammates on the Lady Royals' cross country team.
Henderson won the individual race and led the Lady Royals to the team title at the Mason County Super 7 meet on Saturday. It was the third time this season Henderson has won an individual race and it's the fourth team title for the Lady Royals.
Henderson crossed the finish line with a time of 19:29.29. Three other Lady Royals finished in the top 10: sophomore Paige Decker was third (20:03.35), sophomore Elizabeth Lavinder was fifth (20:47.66) and junior Alyssa Bisotti was ninth (21:07.77).
Mason County finished in eighth place in the boys' race.
