The Mason County girls' and boys' cross country teams hosted and swept the Buffalo Trace Conference meet Tuesday night.
The Lady Royals had the top six finishers led by Elizabeth Lavinder in a time of 20:37. She was followed by teammates Alyssa Bisotti (21:03), Hayden Faris (21:55), Rachel Payne (22:58), Morgan Carpenter (23:34) and Alexis Decker (23:52).
Another Mason County runner- Kendra Shoemaker- took ninth place (24:55).
Hadley Mellenkamp of St. Patrick finished in 10th place (26:31).
Bracken County junior Damon Bryant won the boys' race with a time of 17:53.
Mason County Carson Adams was the runner-up with a time of 18:39.
Augusta runners Bryant Curtis (18:51)and Conner Snapp (19:14) finished third and fourth respectively, followed by Tyler Thompson (19:45), Peyton Ullery (20:11) and Cole Wright (20:45) all of Mason County.
Carson King (21:44) of Bracken County, Amari Myrick (22:27) of St. Patrick and Caleb Fannin (24:33) of Fleming County rounded out the top 10.
