The Mason County Royals football team has found an opponent for Friday night after it's game against Frankfort was cancelled.
The Royals will travel to Harrodsburg to play Coach David Buchanan's Mercer County Titans.
Buchanan is in his sixth season at Mercer County after coaching at Mason County 19 seasons.
Mercer County was originally scheduled to play Western Hills this week, but that game has been rescheduled for October 30.
Buchanan's youngest son, Trosper, is the Mercer County quarterback.
Mercer County is coming off a 31-28 overtime victory over Christian Academy-Louisville. The Titans opened the season with a 51-7 loss to Boyle County. Mercer County beat Taylor County, 20-14, in the second week of the season.
Mason County is off to its first 2-0 start since 2014- Buchanan's final season as the coach of the Royals.
