Macey Littleton qualifies for the state golf tournament for the second straight year

 Mason County sophomore Macey Littleton is an individual qualifier for the girls' state golf tournament for the second straight year.

Littleton shot 91 today in the Region 12 tournament at Golf at Acorns in Mt. Sterling.

Mason County tied for fourth place in the team standings with a total of 423.

Ashland won the team title and a berth in the state tournament with a score of 360. Montgomery County was a distance second with a score of 405.

The Leachman Buick-GMC-Cadillac/KHSAA Girls' State Golf Championship is scheduled October 9 and 10 at Bowling Green Country Club.
