A positive COVID-19 case with in the Mason County football program

All activities for the Mason County football program have been shutdown for the week after a positive COVID-19 test within the program.

Here is a statement from the Mason County Athletic Department:

On July 27th the Mason County Athletic Department was made aware of one positive COVID-19 case within our football program. All proper procedures and protocols were being followed and we have been in communication with our local health department throughout this process. Out of an abundance of caution, the decision was made to shutdown all football activities for this week. We will continue to monitor and reevaluate our situation as the week continues. The health of our students and staff continues to be our top priority.
