Add the Maysville Classic (Dirt Bowl) to the list of local sporting events cancelled during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 5-on-5 basketball tournament is normally played in August at the Mason County Lady Royals Gym in downtown Maysville.
In a Facebook post on Friday, the Maysville Classic Committee announced the cancellation of this year's tournament and said it is already working toward the 2021 tournament.
