Blakefield survives another windy day, is T30 after 2nd round of Korn Ferry Tour season opener

The wind blew hard again at The Bahamas Great Exuma Classic at Sandals Emerald Bay on Monday, scores soared in the second round and only 10 golfers are under par at the midway point of the season-opening tournament on the Korn Ferry Tour.

After firing a four-under 68 in the first round on Sunday, Maysville native Mark Blakefield shot a six-over 78 in the second round on Monday.

His 36-hole total of two-under has him T30, 13 shots off the lead, but only six shots from second place with 36 holes still to be played.

The cut was at five-over.
