Lofton pours in 32 points, but KBC in semifinals of Lexington Regional of TBT

Chris Lofton hit eight three-pointers and scored a game-high 32 points, but KBC lost to Loyalty is Love 91-80 today in the semifinals of the Lexington Regional of The Basketball Tournament.

There were seven ties and 15 lead changes before Loyalty is Love pulled out to a 10-point lead at 76-66 with 7:01 remaining in the fourth quarter.

Lofton hit a three-pointer to pull KBC to within three points at 81-78 with 4:32 to play. 

Loyalty is Love was up 83-80 and called a timeout with 3:54 remaining. The Target Score of 91 was set for the Elam Ending and Loyalty is Love scored the last eight points to clinch the victory.

Lofton was 8-of-10 from the field including 6-of-8 on three-point shots and scored 22 points in the first half. 

For the game, he was 11-of-16 from the field (8-of-13 on 3s) and 2-of-3 on free throws.
