There is not tie-breaking system for the team scores.
"I have coached 20 years and this is the first tie for first place I have seen at a regional," Mason County coach Mark Kachler wrote in an email message.
The Mason County Royals took fourth place in the boys meet.
The top two from each event advance to the state meet on May 31.
The at-large state qualifiers will not be determined until all region meets are completed Tuesday night.
Mason County's first place finishers include:
- Abi Dawson, girls pole vault (10-00.00)
- Paige Decker, girls 800 meter run (2:29.06)
Second place finishes by Mason County athletes include:
- Dawson, girls 400 meter dash (1:02.27)
- Rachel Payne, girls 100 meter hurdles (17.44) and girls 300 meter hurdles (49.64)
- Olivia O'Hearn, girls pole vault (9-06.00)
- A.J. Barrett, boys pole vault (10-06.00)
- Te'a King, girls 100 meter dash (13.13) and girls 200 meter dash (28:15)
- The girls 4x100 meter relay team of Iyanna Johns, Kendra Shoemaker, Payne and King (52.66)
- The Girls 4x200 meter relay team of Dawson, Morgan Carpenter, Shoemaker and King (1:52.74)
- The girls 4x800 meter relay team of Layla Henderson, Hayden Faris, Alyssa Bisotti and Elizabeth Lavinder (10:28.54)
- The girls 4x400 meet relay team of Dawson, O'Hearn, Payne and Decker (4:15.95)
