Mason County's shooting tonight was nearly as cold as the weather outside.
The Royals shot 21.7 percent from the field in the first half and 30.2 percent for the game in a 53-41 loss to the Montgomery County Indians in Mt. Sterling.
It's Mason County's third straight loss.
The Royals were 3-of-19 (15.8 percent) from three-point range against the Indians' 2-3 zone.
Mason County only scored four points in the first quarter and just 13 in the first half.

Jaylen Lofton scored 16 points before fouling out with 4:30 left in the game. Xylon Frey added 13 points.
Mason County hosts Clark County Friday night.
