The Mason County Lady Royals had a seven-point lead at the end of the first quarter, but were outscored 20-7 in the second quarter of a 56-43 loss to the Campbell County Lady Camels this afternoon at The Fieldhouse.
Campbell County outscored Mason County 33-6 from three-point range.
Mallory Holbrook hit five three-pointers and scored 19 points for the Lady Camels who snapped a six-game losing streak.
Victoria Brooks, Rachel Payne and Sam Schumacher each scored 10 points for the Lady Royals.
Mason County travels to Lexington Monday night to play Frederick Douglass.
