Squad Up rallies to win Maysville Classic

Squad Up rallied from a 10-point second half deficit to defeat Team Gibbs 55-51 tonight in the championship game of the Maysville Classic at the Lady Royals Gym.

Chris Lofton made a layup to give Squad Up a 26-24 lead at the half.

Team Gibbs, led by former Fleming County Panthers Troy Gibbs Jr., Troy Steward and Darion Burns, took a 43-33 lead.

Former Adair County standout Kevin Bridgewater  fueled Squad Up's rally.

Lofton hit a layup to give Squad Up a 53-51 lead followed by two free throws by Bridgewater.

Lofton came up with a steal and Squad Up ran out the clock.

Bridgewater won the Ron Bailey Most Outstanding Player Award.

Squad Up received the Pat Moore Championship Trophy. Moore's widow, Angie, presented the trophy to the champions.
