Mason Co. at Morgan County tonight

The Mason County Royals, coming off a 51-16 road win over the Rowan County Vikings, head out of town again tonight to play the Class 3A Morgan County Cougars in West Liberty. Kickoff is at 7:30.

Here are a few game notes: 

• Mason County's victory over Rowan County Saturday was the 220th for the program. The Royals' all-time record is 220-201.
• Morgan County opened the season with a 54-36 loss to Rowan County. After an open date, the Cougars routed Jenkins 60-0 last week to snap a 10-game losing streak dating back to last season.
• Morgan County has lost 15 of 17 games since the midway point of the 2015 season.
• The Cougars' last winning season was in 2012.
• Mason County leads the series with Morgan County 2-0. The Royals won 21-12 at home in 2005 and 33-0 in West Liberty in 2006.
