Jonathan Thomas named District 7 Coach of the Year

Mason County football coach Jonathan Thomas is the Kentucky Football Coaches Association Class 4A District 7 Coach of the Year.

Thomas guided the Royals to a 4-7 record and a berth in the playoffs as the No. 3 seed in the district one year after a 1-9 injury plagued season.

Scott junior Alex Thurza is the Class 4A District 7 Player of the Year.
