The Mason County Lady Royals' season-opening eight-game winning streak was snapped by a 57-48 loss to Butler tonight in the quarterfinals of the Traditional Bank Holiday Classic at Lexington Catholic.
Briana McNutt led Mason County in scoring with 14 points. Jordan Frodge scored 13 points and Whitney O'Mara added 10 points.
The Lady Royals will play the East Carter Lady Raiders Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
