Bracken County and Mason County Advance in Traditional Bank Holiday Classic

The Bracken County Lady Bears and the Mason County Lady Royals posted first round wins today in the Traditional Bank Holiday Classic at Lexington Catholic.

Bracken County defeated Fairdale 68-54. The Lady Bears will play Elizabethtown Sunday at 1 p,.m.

Mason County routed Breckinridge County 64-29 to run its record to 7-0. The Lady Royals have held their last four opponents to under 30 points. 

The competition will be tougher in the second round. Mason County plays 6-0 Murray Sunday at 5:30 p.m. Murray cruised past Fern Creek 80-30 today.
