Ross Smith is General Manager and Director of Golf at new course in Michigan

Maysville native Ross Smith is the General Manager and Director of Golf at The Golf Club at Harbor Shores, a Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course in Michigan. The Golf Club at Harbor Shores, located along the shores of Lake Michigan, opened all 18 holes on July 1. Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Tom Watson and Johnny Miller played in the grand opening event- Harbor Shores Champions for a Change Golf Challenge on August 10. The 2012 and 2014 Senior PGA Championships will be played at The Golf Club of Harbor Shores. Smith served as the golf professional at the Maysville Country Club in the 1980s.
