Mason County senior Ryne King threw a complete game and scored two runs as the Royals beat the Pendleton County Wildcats 4-2 at home this evening. Pendleton County took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning. Mason County went up 2-1 in the bottom of the first. The Wildcats tied the game with a run in the top of the third. The Royals went back in front with a run in the bottom of the third. Mason County added an insurance run in the bottom of the sixth inning. King struck out five and walked one in his first win of the season. Mason County (6-9) hosts Ashland in the Spectrum Graphx Classic Saturday at 1 p.m.
