Lady Royals win Boyd County Classic, Royals 2nd

The Mason County Lady Royals won the girls' meet at the 36th Boyd County Classic Saturday. The Royals were second in the boys' meet. It's the Lady Royals' second win of the week. They also finished first at the Fleming County All-Comers Thursday night. Here is a list of the Mason County athletes who won events at Boyd County:

• Seth Adkins, boys' 100 meter dash and boys' 200 meter dash;
  
• Julia Woods, girls' 1600 meter run and girls' 3200 meter run;
  
• Jim Myers, boys' 16oo meter run and boys' 3200 meter run;
  
• Ashley Deatley, girls' 400 meter dash and girls' high jump;
  
• The girls 4x800 meter relay team of Sarah Bellingham, Julia Woods, Valerie Rice and Raylee Kirkland;
• The boys' 4x200 meter relay team of Bradley Lang, Seth Adkins, Colt Fearis and Josh Harris;
• The girls' 4x100 meter relay of Andreana Bennett, Madison Paver, Katie Redmond and Tiara Harris;
• The girls' 4x400 meter relay team of Ashley Deatley, Valerie Rice, Iretta Carpenter and Madison Paver;
• The boys 4x400 meter relay team of Seth Adkins, Colt Fearis, Tyler French and Bradley Lang;
