The Blue team blanks the White team 13-0 in Spring Game

Josh Harris rushed for 158 yards and a touchdown, and threw a touchdown pass to Tyler Black to lead the Blue team to a 13-0 win over the White team in the Mason County Royals' annual spring football game today. Harris had 16 carries (all but one out of the Hog formation). Neal Pawsat, the quarterback for the White team, completed 8-of-14 passes for 144 yards. Marcel Jackson caught five passes for 85 yards for the White squad. Donavon Orta had two receptions for 52 yards for the White team. The Blue-White Game concluded two weeks of spring practice.
The Royals begin preseason practice July 12. Mason County will go to Highlands on July 15 for 7-on-7 passing drills. The only preseason scrimmage is August 13 ay home vs. Ashland. The season opener is August 20 at Danville.
