Blakefield fires a 66 and ties for 13th place in South Georgia Classic

Mark Blakefield had the best round of the day- a six-under-par 66- in the final round of the South Georgia Classic and tied for 13th place in the Nationwide Tour event in Valdosta, Ga. Blakefield, who began the day tied for 49th place, had a bogey-free round with six birdies. He had a four-day total of three-under 285. With a Top 25 finish, Blakefield qualified for the next tournament on the Nationwide Tour- the Stadion Athens Classic Classic at UGA- which begins Thursday at the University of Georgia Golf Course.
