Rigg makes the cut, Mason Co. 18th at boys state golf tourney

Russell Rigg shot a 9-over-par 81 in the first round and made the cut on the number at the Leachman GMC-Buick/KHSAA Boys State Golf Championship at Bowling Green Country Club. Mason County had a team total of 350 and finished in 18th place. The top 12 teams advanced to the second round. Sophomore Bradley Litzinger led the Royals with an 82 and missed the cut by one shot.
