Lady Royals and Royals lose in district soccer tournaments

The Mason County Lady Royals lost to the Grant County Lady Braves 4-2 in the girls' 23rd District soccer tournament and the Mason County Royals were blanked 1-0 by the Grant County Braves in the boys' 23rd District soccer tournament Monday night. Porsha Greene scored both of the Lady Royals' goals on corner kicks. Ashley Deatley had an assist on both goals. The Lady Royals end the season with a record of 4-9-3. The Royals went 10-6-2.
