After three straight rainouts, the Mason County Royals opened the season with an 11-1
six inning road win over Calvary Christian today. The Royals scored one run in the 1st inning, one in the third and eight in the sixth. Connor Osborne hit a bases loaded triple in the sixth inning. Corey Woods went 3-for-3 with three RBI. Corey Walker started and gave up one run in four innings. Brandon Meadows pitched the final two innings. Mason County plays at Bourbon County on Monday.
