Lady Saints district champs with 46-27 win over Lady Bears

The St. Patrick Lady Saints used a big first half to beat the Bracken County Lady Bears 46-27 tonight in the championship game of the girls' 39th District Tournament at The Fieldhouse.
St. Patrick led 17-5 at the end of the first quarter and 32-11 at the half. Cora Chamberlain and Chelsea Douglas scored 11 points apiece for the Lady Saints who have won 12 of their last 13 games. Both teams advance to the girls' 10th Region tournament at Harrison County next week.
