Mason County overcame early foul trouble to two starters to beat Scott 69-48 tonight in Taylor Mill. Russ Middleton picked up his second foul with 5:50 left in the third quarter. Keith Downing played only 15:59 before fouling out. Neal Pawsat also fouled out. There were 52 fouls and 63 free throws in the game. Middleton scored 15 points. Treg Setty had a double-double, 13 points and 10 rebounds. E. J. Murray scored 15 points for Scott. Mason County plays Cincinnati St. Xavier in the Bluegrass-Buckeye Charity Holiday Classic at Northern Kentucky University Saturday at 12:30 p.m.
