Mason County senior Darius Miller is the 2008 Kentucky Mr. Basketball. Miller received the award from the Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation this afternoon during an assembly in The Fieldhouse. Miller will wear the No. 1 jersey for the Kentucky All-Stars in their annual series against the Indiana All-Stars in June. Miller, a University of Kentucky signee and the Sweet 16 MVP, averaged 19.8 points and 7.8 rebounds per game this season. He is third on the Royals' all-time scoring list. Miller is the second Mason County player to be named Mr. Basketball. Chris Lofton won the award in 2004.
