The Mason County Royals started the game on a 19-0 run on their way to a 71-36 win over the Bishop Brossart Mustangs tonight in the semifinals of the Pepsi Mason County Invitational Tournament. Trevor Setty led the Royals in scoring with 17 points. Darius Miller scored 14 and Ethan King added 12. Setty, Miller and King were a combined 18 of 20 from the field.
Mason County made 17 of 22 shots (77.3%) in the first half. The Royals will play the Montgomery County Indians in the championship game on Sunday at 3 pm. Montgomery County beat Campbell County 63-54 in the other semifinal game.
