Mason County fans are still excited about last night's win over 15th ranked Mount Vernon. Tonight, the Royals play No. 10 Rice. I believe Rice is the best team Mason County has ever faced in a game that counts (Mason County lost to Oak Hill Academy in a KHSAA Hall of Fame game in the 1990s that doesn't count in the record books).The Raiders look so much better than Mount Vernon. Rice is led by Connecticut signee Kemba Walker, a 6-1 guard. The Raiders are exceptionally quick and athletic. The Mason County-Rice game is scheduled at 1 a.m. Maysville time, but it is the eighth game of the day and will probably start much letter. The game will be aired live on WFTM-FM and Soft96.com and replayed at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

Why doesn't the Oak Hill game count? I was there though can't remember if it was advertised as an exhibition or not? Great game, and many current and former NBA players were on that Oak Hill team if I remember correctly.
