Two Defending Champions Returning to Buffalo Trails Multi-Sport Racing

At least two defending champions are returning to the Buffalo Trails Multi-Sport Races this year. Barry Knight, the two-time defending champion of the men's triathlon and four-time women's duathlon champion and one time triathlon champion Michelle Kitze have signed up for this year's races which take place on May 26. Knight, a firefighter from Paducah,won the first triathlon in 2005 in a time of 1:25:09. He won last year's race in a time of 1:25:54. Kitze won the duathlon in 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2006.
