Georgetown G-Men Ohio Division IV State Champs

The Georgetown G-Men completed an undefeated season with a 75-66 win over Canal Winchester Harvest Prep in the Ohio Boys' Division IV Championship game Saturday at Value City Arena in Columbus. Georgetown had a 13 point lead midway through the second period but Harvest Prep rallied to take a 40-38 lead early in the third quarter. Cory Kidwell hit back-to-back baskets to put the G-Men back in the lead at 42-40. Georgetown led the rest of the game and completed the season with a 28-0 record.
Four Georgetown players scored in double figures, Jay Chadwell scored 26 points, Isaiah Felder had a double-double- 19 points and 11 rebounds, and Cory Kidwell and Jess Chadwell scored 11 points apiece. It's Georgetown's first state championship.
